international event dedicated to contemporary art publications.

wants to effectively play
a part in promoting and supporting the book, by recognizing its important role in the diffusion and knowledge of contemporary art contents.
FLAT
wants to bring together
leading publishers and small independent presses, book makers, collectors and book lovers, to create a space for promoting the finest and most interesting international art editions, from exhibition catalogs, monographs, literary essays, and artist’s books, to rare and out‐of‐print editions and magazines.
FLAT
is an idea by FLAT,
the namesake cultural association which defines its guidelines and program with the support of an experienced international Scientific Committee of professionals from the publishing and contemporary art fields. A curator team have planned a program of events that include exhibitions, conferences and presentations, delving into the art publishing world and exploring the practices and issues related to the culture of the artist’s book, both in Italy and abroad.
FLAT,
will be an important platform for promoting and selling artists’ books, as well as a hub for the production and exchange of ideas.
