Fleet Image previously named Roy Browne Car Painters was started in June 1976 and was located at 87 Albert Park Drive in Te Awamutu.
In 2002, we decided to expand and opened a branch in Hamilton - we now have 3 Branches in Te Awamutu, Hamilton & Auckland. Roy and Pam Browne formed the business originally and approximately 24 years ago Kris Browne & Glenn Tervit became shareholders.
Roy Browne Car Painters started out with 4 staff members, we now currently have almost 90 employees between the three branches.
We initially started the company as a solely car painting business operating out of our Te Awamutu branch but have transformed into a fully functional collision repair service. We have been successfully operational as this for the past 15 years picking up awards from the CRA as Overall Best Shop and Best Presented Shop in New Zealand.
The Hamilton Branch is our biggest commercial division specializing in painting new commercial vehicles and machinery; however, we still undertake minor truck repairs and full refinishes. We now have two 16 by 5.5m truck booth and bake ovens. We are set up for large scale jobs and have painted everything from 400T cranes to light aircrafts, helicopters & buses.
Lastly the Auckland Branch specializes in trucks, trailers, collision repair and full refinishes.
Fleet Image’s mission has always been to offer the best service in the collision repair industry in the country. Unlike other panel beating and paint shops, we are equipped to work on cars, trucks and machinery. With 2 locations in the Waikato and 1 in Auckland this means we are easily accessible to help with your Collision repair needs.
