Fleming College’s Office of Applied Research and Innovation (OARI) connects faculty, students, and industry with the resources they need to solve real-world challenges. We support faculty in pursuing meaningful research and foster collaboration with businesses, non-profits, and community organizations seeking innovative solutions. With access to state-of-the-art facilities and expert research teams, we help partners explore new ideas, validate technologies, and advance applied research that drives impact across sectors. The Office of Applied Research and Innovation supports all applied research at Fleming, including faculty research and applied projects at our three dedicated research centres: Centre for Advancement of Water and Wastewater Technologies (CAWT) Centre for Applied Machine Intelligence and Integration Technologies (CAMIIT) Centre for Innovative Aquaculture Production (CIAP)
