The Association was founded in 1965. The Association is working in the interest of its members & undertakes many activities for the benefit of the members.Association is run by a Managing Committee comprising of the prominent members from the industry. Association also has a full-fledged secretariat office supporting the managing committee for day to day functioning on the association. Association has many prominent companies from Flexible & Carton industry as members.Members from films,adhesives,ink & also as manufacturers of machineries for the flexible and carton industry. Association conducts Annual STAR Awards where in members & non members participate with their innovations. The Awards are selected by independent experts from industries & a grand Ceremony is held for distributing the awards for the winners.Over the Years this prestigious industry award has become very popular. The Association makes the representation on behalf of the industry, if the issues are important to the members as a whole. IFCA comes out with the quarterly magazines which carries important news of interest to the members,Also it gives the Platform to the members to share their Press releases/Articles Free of Charge. Also they can advertise for a nominal Payment. IFCA also comes out with Monthly E-Bulletin IFCA ties up with the major Packaging Exhibitons held in India & Abroad & Participating members get a concession rates. The Association organises many programs for the benefit of the Members. Programs can be organised as per specific request of the Members or group of Members with the help from Experts from the Packaging Industries.
