AFDA Asociación Familias Diversas de Argentina

We are AFDA, a non-governmental organization that promotes respect, inclusivity and real equality for LGBTIQA+ people. We are a non-profit organization with the objective of promoting the same rights and opportunities for the LGBTIQA+ community both locally and internationally. We focus particularly on the rights of LGBTIQA+ families. Our work is aimed at empowering the families in our country so that they can experience equality instead of discrimination. We celebrate and embrace diversity as an important human quality and as the main factor for social, cultural and economic development. OUR MISSION AFDA works towards social inclusion and in favour of the elimination of the existing barriers to achieve equality. We seek a positive change in the lives of adults, adolescents and children through specific actions with social impact. OUR VISION We imagine a world in which full equality and the same opportunities are available to everyone, in a society that is free of discrimination and based on gender equality and social justice.
