Flight Ferry Corporation

The Flight Ferry Corporation is a commercial over the water, medium speed maritime transportation company utilizing augmented lift, ground-effect, wigcraft technology. Our maritime vessel is airborne at 50 mph and cruises at ten feet above the water in ground effect at 105 mph. We are able to operate anywhere there is an efficient body of water, coastal waterway, large river, peninsula, a bay, or an inlet. Additionally, Flight Ferry will be able to provide (Uber Type) on-demand water transportation service for our passengers and cargo customers. Our 12 seat WIG-CRAFT is comfortable, economical and safe. The blue dolphin WIG-CRAFT has been in operation for 25+ years making it a reliable, safe alternative to coastal and ocean marine transportation. Our current twin engine BD-12 Wigcraft, built from carbon fiber and metal is outfitted with 12 seats, with an effective range of approximately 700 miles and is approximately 75% more energy efficient than any twin-engine sea plane or helicopter. At the request of UBER Technologies, we have lowered our landing speed to 38 miles per hour with some wing and fuselage design changes. Depending on the area of operation around the globe, our BD-12 uses a variety of Off-the-Shelf multi-fuel power sources including mo-gas, bio-fuel, desiel and Jet-A. Our mission here is to offer the BD-12 in many different locations and environments. As soon as electrical and hydrogen powered motors become mature, tested and available, we will pursue those power systems for our Wigcraft Series of Wigcraft.
