Flinders Run was founded in 1997 by Emanuel and Laura Skorpos, located on the western slopes of the beautiful Southern Flinders Ranges, its picturesque vineyards lie in contrast to the magnificent ranges as the backdrop. Emanuel has pioneered the development of wine production in the Southern Flinders Ranges, winning international acclaim with its foundation range of Shiraz. As you taste your way through our premium portfolio of wines, you’ll discover why fruit from our vineyards is winning palettes worldwide; rich, red soil, underground water, outback sunshine, and cooling sea breezes from the nearby Spencer Gulf. If you take a glance at Flinders Run Winery, you’ll see beautiful vineyards against a backdrop of picturesque mountain ranges. But look more closely and you’ll see we’ve planted many different clones each a variation of a specific grape variety; with each one chosen for the specific qualities they bring to the wine making process.
