FlipFuel was started by a group of Arizona backpackers in 2021. The FlipFuel fuel transfer device allows users to consolidate fuel from partially filled fuel canisters. Preserve pack space and weight.
And recycle the empty canisters.
In 2022, GearJunkie editors trail-tested the FlipFuel device and said that "every backpacker, camper, and hiker should keep one of these with their cooking gear. It will get used."
