Blake Moseley struggled to find dog accessories that were not too feminine but still up to his pup’s style standards. While early-2000s style seems popular in the world of furry fashion, Blake and his doggo, Theodore, agreed it wasn’t their aesthetic. They sought dog accessories that not only suit their styles, but will last longer than a season. With limited options in the market, Floofy was born.
Dog-dad Blake has had a lengthy career in the advertising industry, working with some of the world’s biggest brands. Blake’s extensive experience gives him a unique point of view with an educated understanding on what customers actually need (and never asked for).
They say dogs are a reflection of their owners, and this is too true for Blake and Theodore.
Born in 2019 and aging like a fine floof, Theodore is a good boy who knows what he wants. Super sassy, just like his hooman.
The two braved the novel COVID-19 pandemic together. With an empty social schedule and only walkies on the agenda, it was clear that Theodore’s accessory drawer needed an upgrade. So much more than just a pandemic passion project, Floofy is the product of a pet owner who’s found the pet industry is missing well-made, streetwear accessories that won’t break the bank.
And we agree, size does matter. So, we’ve catered our products to pooches large (like Theodore’s German Shepherd bestie, Marco) and little.
The Floofy team values the future of our planet for both its people and pups, so we’re keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum by ensuring a sustainable manufacturing process. We’ve partnered with noissue and Eco-Alliance to provide recycled packaging that’s fully biodegradable, and we commit to only working with manufacturers who have a transparent carbon net-zero strategy.
