This process describes the Fluidform approach to verification of design through virtual prototyping and analysis. This logical strategy reduces the iterative approach and costs of physical prototyping to a minimum. A first pass on prototype testing is key to Fluidform's ethos. FEA methods also allow engineers to develop a full understanding of structure, load path, fibre performance and orientation. This provides a comprehension much deeper than a purely empirical approach which is inherent in a physical only prototyping process.
