With the ever-increasing interactions of fluid power, mechanical, electrical and information technology components, we - the Chair of Fluid-Mechatronic Systems - have expanded our research and development spectrum into the field of "Fluid-Mechatronics" (in short, Fluidtronics). Existing key topics such as hydraulic and pneumatic drive, control and automation technology in stationary and mobile applications, valve actuators and solenoids, numerical flow calculation (CFD) on e. g. pumps and valves as well as methods of virtual product development are continuously advanced and deepened. Topics such as new hybrid drive structures, the safety of fluid-mechatronic functions and aspects of software development extend the previous work.
