The Downtown Flushing Transit Hub Business Improvement District (BID) or "Flushing BID" is a not-for-profit organization that was formed in September 2003 by property owners, businesses, residents and community leaders with a stake in the downtown Flushing community. We are the 45th BID to be created in New York City.
The BID acts as an advocate, liaison, promoter, and problem solver for the community and provides a critical link between the NYC government and the neighborhood. As a public-private partnership between the City government and the business community, the BID works hand in hand with local elected officials and government agencies.
