Fly cup

Fly Cup is a student-led competition that challenges participants to design and build innovative flying devices. Fly Cup was launched in 2023 by a team of mechanical engineering students(Fly Spirit) from Isfahan University of Technology. Fly Cup aims to foster collaboration and communication between industry, academia and students, and to provide a platform for students to apply their scientific, technical and research abilities in a engaging way. Fly Cup is an opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and skills, network with those who have similar interests, engage with industry partners and challenge themselves with projects that demand their best performance. The first round of Fly Cup was a huge success for the flying device enthusiasts in Iran. After a long hiatus of similar competitions in the country, Fly Cup drew a large crowd of supporters from industry and academia: 57 teams from top universities cross the country participated, four industrial and knowledge-based companies sponsored, and national media covered the event extensively.
