Flying Wings is a pioneering initiative aimed at addressing the acute educational crisis in Afghanistan, particularly the restrictions on girls’ education beyond grade 6. With a successful pilot that enrolled 300 students, EBA has demonstrated its potential to make a significant impact. The program now seeks funding to sustain and scale its efforts to provide Afghan girls with the education they deserve. 1. Deliver core academic subjects: Address the root cause of school closures. 2. Develop online learning resources: Offer digital tutorials for independent study. 3. Implement a blended learning approach: Utilize pre-recorded videos to mitigate internet connectivity issues. 4. Integrate personal development and life skills: Boost student mindsets and emphasize the value of education in a globalized world, where geographical barriers are less restrictive. 5. Provide mentorship for scholarship applications: Rekindle hope by facilitating access to international scholarships offered by many countries and institutions. 6. Introduce gender and women's studies: Empower students by strengthening their self-esteem and promoting awareness of their rights.
