Flymetrics is a European aerial robotics company based in Warsaw, Poland, developing a new generation of autonomous micro-copters for industrial applications. Flymetrics’s UAV work started in 2014 and prototyped in 2017 in a general-purpose model named H20-UAS, where H20 stands for 20/24h flying time. Designed automatic battery swap system, and on-board drone control hardware, H20-UAS base station enables pseudo-continuous aerial operation (70% duty cycle), combining reliability and flexibility of deployment.
Flymetrics’s autonomous drone technology is foreseen to impact a broad spectrum of industries, spanning from renewable energy to agriculture and mining; among important applications also those related to meteorology and environmental protection, such as fire detection.
