Finance and Investment Cell, St. Stephen's College

The Finance and Investment Cell of St. Stephen's College was instituted back in 2007, with the objective of instilling a sense of financial keenness amongst the student community. We regularly organize several events such as case-study competitions, excel simulations, seminars, panel discussions and quizzes on topics of financial and economic relevance. Our other initiatives include the Financial Literacy Campaign (for spreading financial awareness amongst the underprivileged) and an annual journal - Stephanian Finance Review. Apart from conducting National level Case Study Competitions like DreaMerger and Case Club League, running an editorial and research blog and assisting the underprivileged through financial literacy sessions, the society has had the privilege of hosting stalwarts from the world of business and finance like Dr. Kaushik Basu (Former Chief Economist, World Bank), Dr. Isher Judge Ahluwalia (Chairperson, Board of Governors), Shri N.K Singh (Chairman, 15th Finance Commission of India), to name a few, as lecturers and panelists.
