FoamTEX

FoamTEX is a packaging material derived from textile solid waste. The unique point of this packaging material is that it is biodegradable and self-healing, which replaces regular plastic-based packaging materials and reduces the risk of products getting damaged because of damage in packaging materials. The textile waste recycling rate is only 2% in Bangladesh and the rate of plastic packaging recycling is 5%, which is alarming. Combining these wastes can create a replacement that will day-by-day heal our environment as well as bring revolution to the packaging industry. This is a billion-dollar industry with a CAGR growth rate of 7.5%.
