From an audio engineer, to MMA, to a professional actor, teaching actors of all ages and coaching/taping actors auditions for major TV and Film. These skills created an awareness within him that made him a better director, and creator. Having not just an eye for things, but ears to listen, as well.
Not to mention the editing skills behind it. Taking any footage, no matter how bad it was recorded from someone else, and creating something that has flow. Putting the focus on a strong story. Even if you think there’s no story, there always is.
Creating a compelling story no matter if it’s a photo or video, is something that helps connect with people. The more vulnerable and open you are, the more you’re going to reach your audience. As a director, his job is to help you get that out.
