The Boxiao Foundation was created in 2013 on the initiative of a Chinese entrepreneur, Mr. ZHENG Yi. It is committed to promoting Sino-French/European exchanges and cooperation in the fields of academic research, technological innovation and the humanities.
It supports and rewards institutions, groups or individuals who have made a significant contribution to medical innovation and scientific and cultural cooperation between China and France. The Foundation also funds research carried out by young doctors, as well as their training stays within the framework of partnerships between Chinese and French medical establishments.
The Fondation de France, as a member of the Board of Directors, oversees the management of donations and guarantees the rigorous and transparent funding of the projects it supports.
The Boxiao Foundation's main fields of action are hematology, orthopedics, urology, medical imaging, burns, respiratory infectious diseases, public health, regenerative medicine, cardiovascular surgery and nosocomial infection control.
