Fondation URGO (n.f.): An organization committed to supporting healthcare professionals, created in 2010 to transform healthcare practices and access to medical equipment through public-interest initiatives. Known for its commitment to healthcare, it is dedicated to three missions essential to patients' quality of life: Wound healing | Training healthcare professionals in the management of chronic and acute wounds, raising awareness of the risks of infection, and supporting the fight against epidermolysis bullosa. Access to first aid | Facilitate access to local healthcare in developing countries, and provide first aid training with partners such as the Red Cross. Pain treatment | Promoting non-medicinal solutions such as electrotherapy to improve the quality of life of patients suffering from chronic pain, and exploring alternatives to pain treatment. It draws on Groupe URGO's expertise to turn science into a vector for therapeutic progress, with the constant aim of improving patients' lives.
