What happens when you or a family member are ill or injured? Where do you turn? If you are like most in the West Island community, you go to the Lakeshore General Hospital where help is always available. The core of the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation’s work is the health and well-being of our patients in the communities we serve since 1964. Our mission is to fund the acquisition of state-of-the-art medical equipment not provided by Government and to support major upgrading of hospital facilities. YOU can make a difference! The Foundation relies on community groups, service clubs, individuals and corporations to help us raise necessary funds for the hospital. Your efforts encourage community spirit, awareness and cohesiveness. Each gift is meaningful and helps the hospital to deliver the quality care that our community deserves. When seconds matter, we are here and ready!
