Fondazione Città di Cremona

The Città di Cremona Foundation was established in 2004 following the merger of II.PP.A.B. Reunite the City of Cremona "Istituto Elemosiniere, Istituto Educativo Cremonese, Fondazione Eliseo and Stellina Stradiotti" with the I.P.A.B. "F. Money - Cremonese Geriatric Center ”. The Foundation is the final link in a historical path that has its roots in the Middle Ages, when the main lay charitable institutions were born and in particular the Consortium of the Blessed Virgin or of the Madonna, commonly called Consorzio della Donna (linked to the Franciscans), and the Consortium of Sant'Omobono (linked to the Dominicans). According to the Statute, the Foundation, on the basis of the available resources deriving from the management of its real estate assets, promotes social projects carried out by institutions, associations, by committees / foundations which are the expression of organizations of persons, by public and private institutions that carry out activities of significant social interest or in any case in compliance with or in harmony with the institutional objectives of the Organization. The Foundation therefore supports all those realities that, working on the municipal territory, allow to guarantee that level of quality services, which has always characterized the Cremona welfare.
