Constituted in 1979 and head-quartered at Maia, Portugal, the society Fonte da Moura - Metalworking is dedicated to the manufacturing and assembly of iron structures and stainless steel. Maintaining the spirit that has always characterized it, SFM seeks for constant development and growth in aim of customer satisfaction. In order to accompany growth and modernization of the market, SFM bets on its staff qualifications, distinguished by a dynamic and specialized team, geared towards innovation and quality. With 4000m2 plant area, SFM is equipped with the highest technology equipment, whether its design or manufacturing, which provide its capacity to grant a prompt response, even in high degree of complexity projects. Currently, SFM transforms 650 tons of steel in manufacturing metal components for high power transformers, wind energy and oil-producing industries, cement and gas and industrial machines. SFM’s intervention area also covers boiler and general industrial maintenance. SFM has cooperated with the leading main contractors and architects in some of the major public-private sites, such as the WOW – World of Wine Porto, the Convention Center Exponor in Porto, the dams of Torrão and Lever, numerous shopping centers and hypermarkets, as well as several houses, schools, museums, libraries and cultural centers. Recently, SFM has been developing international projects in a continuous search of new partnerships that will enable the continuous fortifying of its national position and strengthening its international projection.
