Research indicates diets tend to have a 95% failure rate, meaning only 5% of people lose weight and keep the weight off long term, so not only is fad dieting expensive, it has a 95% failure rate. Fad diets fall outside of the range of healthy diet recommendations created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and often claim rapid weight loss to entice consumers. Although there is no specific definition for a fad diet, the biggest indicator is a restrictive diet that does not support sustainability. We're truly focused on changing the way people think about food so they can have the freedom to live a healthy and happy life.
