Users could complete a single Food Card, update it whenever they want, and integrate it with all of their favorite people, places and dining services. Based in San Francisco, FoodFor empowered individuals and groups to share their eating preferences and dietary restrictions like allergies, intolerances, and diets with one another, making it easier for all food service providers, including schools, caregivers and hosts, to take care of their guests. The goal for FoodFor wasn't to change people's behavior, to make them eat healthier or even establish a set of rules for to live by. There are more than enough amazing services for that. The goal is simply to make it easier for hosts to get the food their guests need and want. FoodFor set the stage for stress-free, safe and enjoyable eating experiences. FoodFor's portable and scalable Food Card, complete with preferences, healthcare information, actionable recommendations, connections to dietary experts, ordering services, and group reporting capabilities, addressed the needs of caregivers and food service providers to centrally manage this important information across the increasing number of food services platforms. The company built a network of thousands of cards before merging into a complimentary company.
