Food Futures aims to empower communities to make more sustainable meal choices through our unique ‘Food Wellbeing and Sustainability Index’. Our solution offers individual and collective data on responsible eating is implemented on three pillars — Measure, Record, Recognise. Here, we not only keep track of choices made by the users on a daily and weekly basis but also visualise their choices in context to the 1.5 degree lifestyle as suggested by the Finnish think tank Sitra. For users to feel encouraged to make sustainable choices, rather than feeling overwhelmed by “what difference would my singular choice make.” By visually showcasing the impact they and the community made, we encourage our participants to be perfectly imperfect, meaning they do not have to turn 100% vegan to save the planet!
