We are Food Microbiology Group!
As part of the Food and Nutrition CBQF thematic line, our group works on safety and quality aspects, including the adaptation, survival, and virulence of microorganisms to stresses imposed by the food chain, microbial ecology studies, and the impact of microbial metabolites.
We also study molecular approaches to study new biocontrol techniques, in particular for Listeria (bacteriocins, phages, plant extracts) to be used in various food matrices.
