FootageFest

FootageFest is a yearly conference in Hollywood bringing together footage industry professionals from around the world. Everyone in the industry that touches third-party content at all is invited into the circle: “Users” are not only made up of researchers and clearance folks but writers, directors, producers and editors. Likewise, “Providers” are not just made up of stock footage professionals, but TV and film studio licensing reps, production companies, independent shooters, and news and viral video agencies. Growing exponentially every year, FootageFest continues to attract dozens of niche footage libraries, hundreds of archive and clearance professionals, producers, studio licensing reps, and regional footage research reps from Toronto, Mexico City, New York, as well as across the Atlantic – from the U.K., Ireland and, yes, The Middle East. No region is too small; no language is too complex – FootageFest unites all of us to learn, discuss, challenge, and celebrate this amazing industry we have all made our home.
