Founded in 1979 by a dedicated group of nurses, Hospice of the Foothills has grown from a visionary all-volunteer initiative to Foothills Compassionate Care, a leading non-profit specializing in supporting families and patients
living with chronic illnesses or experiencing an end-of-life journey in Western Nevada County.
At Foothills Compassionate Care, we firmly believe that nobody should have to face the end of life or manage serious chronic illnesses alone.
We offer palliative care at our clinic and hospice services wherever our patients call home. Our caring, skilled, compassionate team focuses on easing this journey, allowing patients and their families to concentrate on cherishing their moments together.
