In rural Kenya, approximately 70% of girls face barriers to accessing affordable sanitary pads, leading to missed school days and perpetuating a cycle of stigma surrounding menstruation. The lack of clean water exacerbates these challenges, contributing to the longstanding issue documented since the 1980s.
