FOPS stands for the Forum of Planning Students, a student society at the University of Johannesburg that brings together students in the field of Urban and Regional Planning. Vision: FOPS aims to be the leading student society that fosters professional growth, collaboration, and academic excellence in the field of urban and regional planning. Mission: Our mission is to provide a platform for students to network, share knowledge, and develop leadership skills in urban and regional planning. FOPS seeks to organize events, workshops, and discussions to promote a deeper understanding of the pressing issues within the planning field. We aim to engage with industry professionals and stakeholders to enhance career prospects and further academic learning for our members. Goals: Create opportunities for professional development and networking. Foster collaboration between students, academics, and industry experts.
