FOR REAL is the result of an idea that first took shape over a decade ago, back when Camille and Maxime were both at Focus Entertainment. Their paths diverged in 2015—Camille became Cinematic Director at Spiders, where he produced and directed the cinematics for Technomancer and Greedfall, before moving on to DON’T NOD as Cinematic Director for Banisher. Meanwhile, Maxime continued creating trailers for several years, before moving into production at Ubisoft and working on multiple Assassin’s Creed titles. Today, They're reunited to combine the expertise they’ve each gained across the industry, along with a trusted network of specialists in every area of cinematics—animators, riggers, FX artists, sound designers, lighting artists—and, most importantly, to realise a shared vision. Whether it’s telling a story, setting a mood, or showing what a game truly is—without spoiling the experience— FOR REAL aim is to make trailers that stand out creatively, truly reflect each project’s spirit, and genuinely inspire excitement. FOR REAL also supports developers in crafting their in-game cinematics, helping to bring that directorial touch that makes a game unique and elevates its narrative. We work hands-on with developers to create in-game cinematics, involved at every step, from animatic, through motion capture sessions and previs, to the final result. FOR REAL is about more than just cinematics—it’s about bringing worlds to life, and turning pixels into emotion.
