For3V3R Ltd : A product life engineering and scale-up solutions provider. The operation is to Refocus, Reuse, Recycle materials rather than disregarding valuable materials to waste. The business model works with Value Retention, Value Recovery and Value Reinvention. What does this mean? Here are a few project examples: One of our projects is taking battery systems from Automotive, at the end of the cycle life for the vehicle application and utilising the high cost raw materials through Refocus in the same format into Grid storage Retaining the component Value in a new application, and we are also stripping and analysing the materials for Reuse via our 3R's process model, taking parts from the original battery system and Recovering Value and utilising this in new products for our solar to wall battery for solar car charging and energy use peak cost shifting. Both avenues require facility development and scale-up, using battery systems, managing high voltage products. Another project we are working on is providing design support for a new product in development. Offering guidance for Value Retention by looking at the replacement of significant characteristic key parts, by introducing design features and minor simple servicing which can take place to extend the product life. We are also working on a raw materials and supplier assessment project. This is to assess the materials being chosen for a customer project. Providing approval for ethical and sustainability supply routes. All project are with the aim of solving the waste culture we currently have as consumers. Tackling this at the design and development, or pre-elimination stage. In the development stage, we are currently working on growing our capability for battery cell recycling, to raw materials whilst maintaining the purity quality of the raw materials. This activity is ongoing with key UK RTO's / Universities.
