Forbes House

Forbes House is a community-based nonprofit domestic violence shelter located in Lake County, Ohio, dedicated to providing survivor-centered, trauma-informed care to survivors of domestic abuse. Emergency safe shelter is a temporary solution to an immediate crisis. Leaving an abusive environment is the first step. Survivors often need counseling for themselves and their children, housing, legal assistance, etc. Advocates and the mental health professionals help adults and children accomplish their goals.
