We deliver human rights and democracy for LGBTIQ+ people in Europe.
Forbidden Colours is a Belgian NGO working on securing the fundamental rights of LGBTIQ+ people in Europe. We focus our activities on the fight against the so-called 'anti-gender' movement and 'anti-rights' movements. Our activities target autocratic and illiberal regimes that scapegoat LGBTIQ+ communities with the objective to weaken democracy and the rule of law.
Our advocacy efforts target the EU institutions as well as the national governments. We raise funds through the King Baudoin Foundation to support projects that help local communities resist and thrive in difficult environments.
Forbidden Colours also provides Diversity and Inclusion trainings for companies. We are always looking for corporate partners ready to support our mission and our goal in making Europe a fully inclusive and welcoming workplace for LGBTIQ+ people.
