Forest First Samithi

Forest First endeavors to restore Western Ghats' forests with Adivasi communities, ensuring food, water, and habitat for life on land. Forest First works on restoration of degraded land by conserving indigenous floral species of Western Ghats through community participation. Forest First has over 525 acres of land under restoration and has conserved over 150 native tree species, through multi-year restoration programs. Forest First supports community livelihood through habitat restoration.
