Future of Forestry

Future of Forestry is a forum for forest-related EU issues, and a platform for the European Forest Coalition, with the simple objective to replace fossil raw materials with forest products to support the green transition. Initiated by FAM, the European Forest Coalition consists of like-minded forest owners, forest cooperatives, and forest and wood industries from around Europe. Together we know that European forests and wood products play a crucial role in building a stronger European bio-economy. A vibrant bio-economy is an important part of decarbonizing Europe through the sustainable use of natural resources, while also increasing competitiveness and economic growth. Activities include yearly seminars in Brussels as well as providing facts and knowledge about forests and forestry in Europe.
