Forever Reef Project

The Forever Reef Project is dedicated to preserving the genetic biodiversity of coral species worldwide, beginning with the Great Barrier Reef. By collecting, cataloguing, and storing living coral fragments and genetic samples in a state-of-the-art facility, we act as a ‘coral ark,’ protecting these vital ecosystems from climate change. Our project also supports global reef research and restoration by providing a land-based repository to accelerate knowledge and conservation efforts.
