ForeverCard

ForeverCard, released Feb. 20 on the App Store, scans cards, sends the images to a server in the cloud, converts the images to data via OCR, runs the data through APIs to validate and gather meta-data, and returns the data as a contact to the phone. If new, valid information for Users' contacts is entered into the database, then Users receive automatic updates to their phone. Users can share their contact with others through the app, via email, text, or QR code. We are working on Batch, a complete rewrite of our backend that improves the process by which scanned cards ("children") are compared and matched to pre-existing data profiles ("parents") to ensure more accurate updates. Batch will also combine (or "batch") contacts into meaningful groups, so that users can easily find the contacts that matter to them most. We hope to have Batch ready by May, and may begin release of the platform as an update to the ForeverCard App.
