ForGood Carbon

Together, we are grounded in resetting the climate. Welcome to ForGood – a new approach to enhancing farmer and donor engagement while advancing carbon units through co-benefits. ForGood Carbon is a research initiative of SoilCQuest, merging social research into SoilCQuest activity for increasing atmospheric carbon storage; piloting a mechanism for connecting farmers that generate high integrity carbon credits with attached sustainability legacy, to the community in acts to accelerate climate action, for good. Our ForGood Carbon Unit™ (FGCU) research is focused on increasing carbon storage and retention in the soil. To make agriculture a key player in reducing greenhouse emissions, we are exploring ways to retire carbon units with added co-benefits, offering alternatives to traditional offsetting and creating new commercial opportunities through patronage.
