About Forman Acton Foundation

Dr. Forman S. Acton was a great man who was born and raised in Salem City, New Jersey, and went on to change the world in many ways. Before he passed away in 2014, he made it his enduring wish to give children from his hometown the same opportunities for success through access to an outstanding education. Our private non-profit foundation's mission is to realize Forman’s dream by supporting every student living or attending public school in Salem City. We provide college scholarships, early college savings accounts and educational grants for other organizations working to help Salem's students.
