Formed Architects is a thriving architectural and design practice dedicated to improving people’s lifestyle by designing beautiful and considered spaces. The RIBA Chartered Practice was established in 2012 by Tina Patel and Michael Martin and has since completed over 130 projects across a variety of sectors. We have extensive experience in home improvement design projects and we work closely with Architect Your Home. From internal changes to enhance your existing space, to extensions and conversions we help you maximise the potential of your home with minimum disruption to your family life. We also specialise in delivering high-end commercial property projects with GDV from £1 to £10 million. We understand that developers are working to stringent deadlines in order to build fast to secure a plot of land or a building unit, and to sell faster so they can release funds. So whether it is residential, HMO or mixed-used developments we help you maximise the potential of your site. What makes us different from other architecture practices is our social purpose. We believe that in order to design beautiful spaces which enrich the lives of their users, all of society has to be represented. We call ourselves “architects with a conscience” and our mission is to impact our profession by promoting diversity in architecture. Architecture is about problem-solving. How can we design creative solutions for the people we are serving if we are not part of that community? Tina Patel, has collaborated within schools as a STEM ambassador and Michael Martin as a RIBA London Council Member, are both dedicated to encouraging women and people from ethnic backgrounds to pursue careers in the construction industry, promoting diversity to be representative of a diverse city.
