Forrest Innovations is a global company operating in the forefront of technology. Forrest is leveraging its development platforms to address two major challenges that humanity is facing in the outdoor environment: the first is in health-care, and more specifically, disease vectoring mosquitoes. These tiny insects debilitate millions of people around the world and indirectly kill more children than any other cause.
The second major objective that Forrest is addressing is in agriculture, specifically a disease dubbed 'Citrus Greening.' This devastating bacterial disease is wreaking havoc in the major citrus producing geographies around the world and is demolishing the orange juice industry in Florida before our very eyes.
Forrest has recognized the need to concentrate global efforts for food security improvements to existing infrastructures, which will avoid further waste. We truly believe that it is possible to properly feed everyone that lives in the world today using the food that is already being produced. More dramatically, we are certain that the additional 3 billion people that are projected to inhabit the Earth by 2050, can also be properly fed with the same amount of food produced today. The challenge is to overcome waste and distribute knowledge and resources more progressively.
