ForSOCIALGood is a youth-led social impact initiative dedicated to transforming health access and education for underserved communities, especially in rural Nigeria. At its heart, the organisation operates with a deep belief: that everyone, regardless of where they're born, should have access to culturally relevant, life-saving health information, in a language they understand, on tools they can actually use. Founded by a young Nigerian woman who experienced the stark health inequalities between Ilesha and the UK, ForSOCIALGood exists to bridge those gaps, not with charity, but with dignity, data, and digital equity. Its flagship innovation is an incoming SIM-free, offline-first, Yoruba-language health platform, co-designed with local women, aiming to radically improve maternal and reproductive health outcomes in remote areas. But ForSOCIALGood is more than a tech solution, it's a movement. From leading field research on water quality and women’s health to mentoring girls in public schools on menstruation and agency, the organisation blends open-source tools, local language advocacy, and community-led research to foster what it calls “health equity from the inside out.” With partnerships spanning local clinics, student researchers, and global health networks, ForSOCIALGood is both hyperlocal and globally-minded, proof that the next generation of African changemakers isn’t waiting for permission to build the future.
