Fort Bend Tbri Collaborative

Fort Bend Tbri Collaborative company information, Employees & Contact Information

The Collaborative hopes to equip child welfare professionals, volunteers, teachers, juvenile justice professionals, and others who come in contact with youth in need with tools and techniques that bring healing and hope to vulnerable children. Trust-Based Relational Intervention is an attachment-based, trauma informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI is connection. The Collaborative Partners include Fort Bend County Behavioral Health Services, Child Advocates of Fort Bend, The Sanctuary, Parks Youth Ranch, The Riverside Project, Hope Squad, and Fort Bend County Juvenile Detention. Our Practitioners who conduct training are credentialed through the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University. Registration to attend classes are on the Fort Bend TBRI Collaborative website. Training costs are funded by the George Foundation for professionals serving the youth of Fort Bend County.
