About Fortify Geotech

"Although we are a relatively new company, our history as a geotechnical and geological consultancy has spanned over 30 years." We initially operated in Canberra in 1985 as Peter J Burgess & Associates, before forming ACT Geotechnical Engineers in 1994, and then expanding through NSW as Fortify Geotech. Those in the know seek our advice first on complicated geotechnical engineering issues. We are a mix of young and experienced engineers and engineering geologists. Our enthusiastic approach, good quality advice and efficient service has earned us a solid reputation within the construction industry. Our highly capable engineers and geologists have a comprehensive understanding of the industry. All of our engineers are members of the Institution of Engineers Australia, the Australian Geomechanics Society, and the Australian Geological Society. Most of our engineers also have postgraduate qualifications.
