Forum for Global Studies

Forum for Global Studies (FGS) is an independent, non-profit and nonpartisan think tank located in New Delhi, India. It is established to advance research about Foreign Affairs and works as a globally oriented interdisciplinary institute with strong connections throughout the world. The mission of FGS is to inspire and to educate the public in matters related to world affairs. It is dedicated to advance globally oriented interdisciplinary research on the crucial role of geo-economics in foreign policy. To this end, it includes the research initiative exclusively on the interface between geo-politics and economics; technology & nation-states; climate change; and defense analysis in the Global realm. Through interdisciplinary, critical, and collaborative studies, it focuses on India’s energy security, Geo-economics and non-traditional security in foreign affairs. Thus, the Forum for Global Studies will shed light on the critical role of economics to determine the state’s orientation. Its research and policy recommendations do not subscribe to any particular political view or interest.
