Forum Origin, Diversity, and Territories

The Origin For Sustainability (Forum ODT) is a community of knowledge and practice, bringing together a wide range of international actors (territorial actors, academics, politicians, researchers, etc.), all committed to new ways of thinking and doing development, where identity, origin, quality and local diversities are catalysts of inclusive dynamics of local and territorial development. Our first objective is the co-construction and capitalisation of knowledge on Origin, Diversity and Territory, in a perspective of long-term dialogue between stakeholders from all horizons and all continents. Roles of the Origin, Diversity and Territories Forum The creation of a community of knowledge and practices for the exchange, consultation and sharing of good practices between stakeholders from all horizons and all continents. The production and management of knowledge in the fields of research, cooperation, public policies and sustainable development of territories. Assuming an advocacy role by placing the issue of diversity and the tools for protecting and enhancing local specificities at the centre of public and private decision-making processes. Identifying synergies between projects and tools, and productive collaborations between institutions and actors. Identify the training needs of local actors (public and private) as well as cooperation actors, and mobilise the ODT community to offer seminars, workshops and training on the identified themes.
