Das Forum Rathenau sieht sich in der Tradition Rathenaus und möchte mit dem Thema “Kohlenstoff” transdisziplinär Kunst, Wissenschaft und Forschung verbinden. Das stillgelegte Kraftwerk Zschornewitz, einst das größte Braunkohlekraftwerk der Welt, ist ein Ort mit großer Strahlkraft, der Keimzelle für diese neuen Impulse werden soll.
