PT | O Fórum Oceano – Cluster da Economia do Mar é uma associação privada sem fins lucrativos com o estatuto de Utilidade Pública, sendo a entidade responsável pela gestão e dinamização do Cluster do Mar Português, Cluster de Competitividade e Internacionalização reconhecido pelo Governo de Portugal.
O Fórum Oceano tem como missão reforçar as dinâmicas de cooperação estratégica entre atores - Empresas, Centros de IDT, Instituições de Ensino Superior, organismos da Administração Pública e outras entidades - e promover a competitividade das principais cadeias de valor que utilizam o Mar e os recursos marinhos como elementos centrais da sua atividade, contribuindo de forma sustentável para o crescimento económico, para as exportações e para o emprego, e para aumentar a importância relativa da economia do Mar na economia nacional.
EN | Fórum Oceano is the entity responsible for fostering the Portuguese Maritime Cluster, a Competitiveness and Internationalisation Cluster recognised by the Portuguese Government. The strategic objectives of Fórum Oceano are to enhance the cooperation between companies, research and development centres, higher education institutions, public administration and other entities; to promote the competitiveness in the main value chains that use the Sea and marine resources as central elements of its activity; and to contribute to economic growth, exports, employment, and to increase the relative importance of the Blue economy in the economy of the country.
